yes for some reason filipinas are like attracted to fil-am boys. when i went back to the philippines, gilrs would be just all over you knowing that your “american”.

and yes filipino men born in us do act, dress and have a different attitude and carry themselves. they’re more americanized of course.

No difference to me. As long as the guy has a complete material, and come in a good package, then it’s no big deal whether he’s from US, Filipino born in US or a pinoy acting like coming from US.

I once dated a Fil-Am and compared to men born in the Philippines, Fil-Ams BACK THEN were more polite, they were gentlemen, they were also very respectful. Nowadays – I can’t say there’s any difference left.

Common mate this is like asking if Americans and Australians are the same. Absolutely not. They’re both white but thats all they share in common. Same as fil-ams and true filos. There’s alot of difference but as a whole most of the people in the pines like western culture so alot of the women like foreign men. Plain and simple.

Even if you’re a Filipino yet you were raised in another country, say US, there’s a big difference.

Filipinos raised in the Philippines are much different from Fil-Americans in as you mentioned attitude, dating, etc. Being raised in another culture makes you adapt to that culture. We Filipinas notice that right away.

Of course they are different as society, culture, friends, media, family, school & all that influences people as they are growing up.

And anybody from the Philippines can readily see differences on an American born FIlipino especially if he grew up there & that is not just on the way they dress & their accent. Regarding dating them, you need to get the answers from Filipinas.
