I’ll have to get back to you on that tomorrow… I’ve been waiting for my man to propose – and now I’m 7 months pregnant, it would be a nice thought.. We’ll see… I’ll keep hoping…
Nope. I had no desire to propose on a cliche day like Valentine’s Day or for Christmas. No imagination whatsoever, and every girl I have ever talked to on the subject agrees. I asked my wife to marry me on December 7th, which just happens to be the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor (guess I decided to drop a bomb of my own…) Actually, it was the day before my wife-to-be’s best friend went back to France, so I wanted her to be able to show her ring to her friend…I was pretty imaginative in the way I gave it to her though. She likes penguins, so I went to Build-A-Bear and had them make a penguin for her with a recorded message. When she squeezed the penguin, a voice said “OUCH!!! I have a piece of ice caught in my foot — can you take it out?” and I had sewn the ring to one of the feet…
