lol, so true……texting is convenient now because you can multi task and have a conversation at the same time..but when it comes to dating you want it to be more personal..all texting while dating is so common because you can say things without having to really say it!! lol..

Text messaging can be good and bad.

yea, pretty much.
it gives you an easier route with less effort.
on the other hand, sometimes its a great way to keep in contact and can be very cute
nothing is good in extremes, so if its in moderation, it ok i guess

To be honest i prefer txting than talking on the phone. Its a good way to communicate! Sometimes u run out of things to say over the phone so txting is easier and allows u time to actually think about what you’re going to say.

I agree with you. In some aspects, text messaging takes sentimental values and feeling out of dating. While more people can express themselves better through a text, the words you say have less meaning than if you had had the, excuse my language, balls to say it to your date’s face or even just over the telephone. It’s like an easy route that just seems to complicate things even more in the long run.

I remember when me and my husband started dating, I used to get really excited when he would text me and I would count the minutes until he replied to mine. He would write things he would never say, like lyrics to songs that made him think of me, and sometimes even little naughty things. I loved those texts!!
