my husband is not the love of my life or my soul mate?

pinkgirl asked:

I recently found out that the one true love of my life has never stopped loving me even though we both went on to marry other people. We connect on such a deep level. He’s everything my husband is not and is such an incredible person. We went our separate ways when we were younger trying to figure out what we wanted in life. I have known him for almost 19 years and find myself with very strong feelings for him still after all this time. I feel our destiny was to be together, but we both kept denying it. How after all this time could we ever be together again? My heart absolutely aches for him. My soul longs for him and I often have dreams about him. This love is like nothing I feel for my husband of 11 years. A part of him will always be in my heart. I need some advice.

sometimes i think it is best to let go. you didn’t say much about your husband. is he good to you? would it completely devastate him if you left? what happened with this soulmate before? there are so many questions that need to be answered before making a decision.but ultimately, it’s always up to you.

Why did ya marry the guy if you don’t love him?! Get together with the other guy to make him realize he still likes you too. Then both get a divorce and you two get married!!!

I truly feel for you….I was lucky enough to end up with the man I know is my soul mate…same thing you say you feel for this man. All I can say is if you are not happy with your current relationship situation..and the other man is willing as well…you should both decide that its time to let destiny bring you together, for good and do it. Of coarse, ending your marriage is not something that could be pretty, but everyone deserves happiness and to feel content and have the love they share is for eternity…go get your soul mate and be happy!!!!!!

    Wow, that’s tough.

First off, are you having problems with your husband? Because the grass always looks greener if there are issues. If you do have issues with your husband I would suggest counciling, if problems are resolved then see how you feel about the other guy then. Concentrate on your marriage first, if you really love your husband then I would try to fix what you have and see where it goes from there.

I feel this person was your soul mate and your heart will not allow you to forget. Best thing is to stay in touch because there is a connection that will not be divided. Time will tell if you are pulled back together. You cannot stop forces of destiny. Be patient and pray for intuition. If your marriage fails because love is gone, perhaps then after divorce you will be open to listen to your heart the next time around, not a biological clock.
