True Love ?

true love
Andy asked:

I love that line from Imagine me & you. When luce says,” I have a like life and I’m fine with it”. You see, love is too strong a word and it’s used for that one person you want to spend the rest of your life with. Even I have a “like life”; I like so many girls around me ;) but they are all mere crushes, which fade away with time. Really, here there are so many questions of the type “Does she like me….how do I know…she flirts with me is this a cue”. I never ponder over these things. When I find my true love I’ll know, and I wouldn’t even have to say that ” I’m gay” because it doesn’t really matter, love is all that matters.

So have you ever had this “love” kind of feeling, even for a random stranger you just saw on the street ??
I had it once, but its a long story and it really makes me feel like singing James Blunt’s Beautiful, which makes me sad…so I’ll share it with u sumtym later ;)

    I’m sorry to say …

But you confuse love with infatuation

I’m totally in love with a girl who used to be a lesbian. I’m the only man she’s ever loved or had sexual feelings for. We are engaged. She’s the best girlfriend I ever had.

I actually have had that ‘love’ feeling. And it was quite similar to the scenario in Imagine Me & You. I saw her sitting at a BBQ of a mutual friend, and I instantly stopped in my tracks. I wanted to go straight to her and introduce myself and ask her to marry me right there. I’ve never felt a connection with anyone that was so strong so quickly. I didn’t know her name until an hour later, didn’t get her number for a couple of months. She later told me that she was scared to even look at me that first day because everyone would be able to see how attracted she was to me. Now, more than a year later, we are buying a house together, and are very much in love. There hasn’t been anyone that has ‘caught my eye’ or turned my head since, and I can’t imagine it lasting a second less than forever.

Yeah, I’ve kinda noticed that too. I’m 21. I’ve had a some crushes here and there over the years but I’ve only ever really fell head-over-heels for two women. The first one I saw day after day for years and it took me forever to get over her. The latter, L, I see almost every day and I just don’t want to get over her even though I don’t think either of us is really ready for a relationship right now. So, friends we’ll continue to be…It doesn’t help that I’m a shameless flirt and she flirts back… >.
