What are the portions of passion and emotion in love between the male and female?

I believe your question is more philisophical than scientific- what is your definition of legitimate love? How many types do you believe exist?

All people tend to have varying views, depending on their previous experiences- someone who has repeated heartbreak tends to have much more pessimistic views than one who has found the love of his/her life.

There has been scientific evidence supporting a certain chemical balance in the brain that sets off romantic emotion… and there are limitless poems that exist to love’s intangible stranglehold on our psyche- all in all, I believe that a satisfactory answer to your question is out of reach due to both the nature of love and the large difference in opinion.

Personally, I like to think that all romantic relationships exist when couples are willing to give 100% to each other there is no “portion” per se since the relationship encompasses everything you mentioned.

As for how it feels… well, that’s pretty abstract- you gotta figure it out for yourself.
