It probably won’t last long unless the people are very very old and can’t function any more. One of the wonderful things about marriage is being able to have safe sex (at least if both persons stay faithful). It’s a shame that our lives are so busy today that people feel too tired to want sex. It’s a stress buster and a wonderful way to keep close to each other and cement a marriage.

It depends on the marriage. For me, no – but some folk just want companionship and someone to share their life with, I think – and if they know this and want to marry anyway then, why not. Whatever makes people happy

If it’s a mutual decision, then I see nothing wrong with it. Not everybody considers sex important and there are those who can’t stand to be intimate.

Some married couples make the conscious decision to stop having sex at some point, which is fine if it’s mutual. But I have to wonder about a couple who are never intimate with each other when they would prefer to be.

I’m sure that Adam and Eve never stood around the campfire trying to decide if the time was right. There definitely is a problem when both genders are fully functional in all respects. Most of the time there is a communication difficulty and that isn’t because they have the wrong kind of phone. In our negative filled approach to sexual opportunities there seems to be a stereotypical reference to the act. Sometimes they act as if the world is watching and they’re afraid an orgasm will spell out a punishment. Spontaneity ought to be the prescribed notion for all but then when children are at home then maybe a nite at the motel would be better. Honesty is a key to receiving the benefits of a good sex life and there is no age limit.In some cases there may be a physical disability well let nature take its course because there is absolutely no rules in a good sexual relationship.
Remember; some do it fast, some do it slow, and sometimes it looks like two organs in a struggle. Good Luck

no point in being married at all then sex is vital and if i cant get sex from my very own wife then who the hell am i supposed to get it off of.

It definately depends on the type of people.

Some people can have sex once a month and be just as happy and fulfilled, if not more than people that have sex twice a day.

Sometimes people prefer to share intimacy in other ways. Obviously there may be something wrong with the relationship if they don’t spend quality time together, do anything romantic and have poor communication but just because they don’t have sex all the time definately does not mean they are doomed!

They just need to make sure they communicate and understand each others needs, because if one partner wants it all the time and the other not at all, then obviously there will have to be some sacrifices with both needs and wants met, mutually.

Everyone is different and the most important part of a relationship is communication, trust, loyalty and intimacy. All of that can be met with or without sex and no one has the right to say that relationships are doomed without sex because everybody is different!!!

There’s always Bathroom Bob!

That sounds depressing as hell. They must have a really unhealthy relationship. I would never put up with that; it would make me feel unloved and rejected, because not only do I really like sex itself as an act but more than that, I love the intimacy that it brings with a loving partner. Without that intimacy, I would question why they are together at all.
