   they look pretty.
   The deeper the relationship becomes (sex, marriage, kids),
   the less incentives the woman has to take care of herself.

   Well…a man who eventually wants to have a family is looking for a woman who will someday deliver into this world a 8lb bowling ball through a hole generally about the circumfrance of a banana….sounds like a pretty good trade off. And who says that the guy has to plan the vacation??? I’ve planned all of ours for the past 5 years!!! He always says he wants to, but never has time, so I do.

   And a woman, during the dating phase is looking for a guy that is financially stable enough to pay for the dates, they may not admit it, but if they want to start a family, they want a guy that can financially support their family when they may be unable to do so for themselves (bedrest during pregnancy, breastfeeding limits work ability b/c they feed every 3 hours which by the way, is also no picnic either, and possibly wanting to be a stay at home mom to raise their kids with their beliefs and a good educational foundation)

   When my husband and I dated, we were mostly in high school, I was from a rich town, he was from the ghetto, even he could pay for a dinner every now and then, it’s not that big of deal.

   As for how they recipricate during the dating stage, they stay interested in you. They can give you back rubs and foot rubs. Depending on their age/ religious beliefs they may give you…more. They can cook dinner for you. They can do your laundry. I know I am a fairly traditional person when it comes to sex roles, but why fix what isn’t broken??? If you can’t think of anything your girlfriend does but use you, then maybe you should ask her to reciprocate or move on.

   They spend a ton of money on clothes and beauty products/services so they can look good for you. Can you believe they do that all for you? It may not be uncommon for women to spend more money on those things than the men spend on dinners, gifts, etc.
