   you love your mum, but you aren’t IN love with her. thats just creepy.

   The Greeks defined love nicely. Check it out. There is a big difference between parental love, friendship and romantic love.

   Love for a family member is like a constant thing ingrained into you, where as love for a partner is based on passion and romance and sadly can burn out.

   The differnece is is just that they are different kinds of love.
   It is very hard to explain but you have different feelings for different kinds of love.
   The only thing that is the same is that you care about both of them very much.

   Loving your mother is a nature instinct designed to keep you near her so she can protect you against harm.
   Loving your girlfriend is designed to protect your offspring and of course their mother.
   Just as with any animal , it is designed to protect your blood line , and perpetuate your species.
   The difference is , you go from being the protected to being the protector.

   Love for your mother is that of a nurturing person, who cares for you.

   Love for a spouse is decidedly more sexual and a differing caliber of love

   The difference is that your mom should have that unconditional natural love but with a wife or girl friend it is conditional you love them as long as they don’t do certain things but usually your mom will love you longer then any one else and is true about it so one is romantic and one is unconditional

   in love ur gf or fiance isu love her as ur campanion

    you love your mom because she always took care of you and she loved you first

    but now you love your spouse because she is the perfect person to spend the rest of your life with. you want to belong to her

    Well as my amazing girlfriend put it,
    I love my mum,
    But i am IN love with my girl.
    Its a big difference
