what is the best way to move on from a guy you thought was going to be your soul mate?

I guess he was not my soul mate because soul mates don’t break your heart by going out with other people. I know he did not love me because people who love you want what is best for you. so i know he did not love me and was not my soul mate but my heart will not move on. I am stuck in a fantasy of someone who i really don’ think exist. I need to move on. This is hurting any chance i have with a really great guy and I just want to move on. there has to be a way to go on with my life and not think about him.
what do i need to do I need some advise

Well you answered your own question. You know he is not the one and you just have to put your mind on making yourself happy.Do something special and soon enough you will not even dwell on his thought any more , dont EVER settle for less than you deserve,word from the wise!!! Good luck
