I actually dated a 17 year old when I was 20 for about a year, and so long as we didn’t converge sexually, there was absolutely no law against it. He consented to my attention, and I very legally conducted a relationship with him that cannot be suspect without physical intervention.

I live in Missouri.. when you turn 16 legally you can date anyone under 21.. and when you turn 17 feel free to do whoever. Don’t know about how your parents will feel though. good luck.
