Invite her to a candle-light dinner. Before the dinner date, scatter rose petals around the place. Secretly arrange with the waiters of the restaurant that once you arrive, start playing sweet music. Then give her bouquet of flowers. After dinner, give her a ring and ask her to marry you.

If she’s a workaholic then go to her job, have everyone in a room for a “suprise party” when she walks in have everyone yell SUPRISE!!! Then when she gets a puzzled look on her face like “suprise for what” you step out wearing a nice suit and propose. You could also try and have her family there, if her work-place goes along with it. If not you could bring her to a concert and ask if you could go up on stage and do it. Or have do a party type thing at the beach, have family and friends set up something nice and bring her there then pop the question. I wish you all the luck in the world

Candles, dinner restaurants, beaches are not original anymore. It is what every woman expects her proposal to be like. Do it spontaneously, when you are in bed or when you are getting dressed to go out. She will be more surprised then

If she loves the beach then you should do it a the beach. My husband and I were at the beach laying in the sun. He leaned over me and popped the question. It was wonderful.
