I really love animals, especially dogs and really want to work with them as a career. I have thought about an animal trainer but I want to explore my options. I don’t really want to be a vet because I don’t like to see severely hurt animals. Also, what are good things to study for jobs like this?

Dog grooming. Dog walking. Dog sitting. The nice thing about all of these is you can do them on your own or as an employee for someone else. Flexible hours. Dogs. What’s not to like
someone like you, who loves these animals soooo much should volunteer at your local animal shelter. they always need volunteers, to walk and take care of the doggies and kitties that have been abondoned. they could really use all your love and support and so can the shelter workers.
Pet groomer, Vet tech, Breeder, Trainer, Go to Pet Smart and work, my friend has moved up to teaching obedience training. Talk to a vet and see about working there for the summer to get an idea of possible career goal.
it would be cool to work at petco or something, maybe be a veterinary doctor? but you shouldn’t do medical stuff if harming an animal makes you uneasy. i know as much as i love animals i could never see them hurt like in surgerys
