What type of careers are available for people to love to cook?

I love cooking, am extremely interested in nutrition and how food plays a part in good health. I want to study nutrition moreso then culinary arts, if I had to choose. What careers are out there? How can a person like me achieve them?

VISIT A HOSPITAL AND TALK SOME DIETICIANS.LOOK ON THE INTERNET TOO. VISIT AN ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY AND TALK WITH THE DIETICIAN. CHECK WITH LOCAL SCHOOLS CATALOGS ETC AND SEE WHAT THEY OFFER. VISIT A NURSING HOME AND TALK W/ THE DIETICIAN THERE. THERE MAYBE A REPUTABLE ON-LINE COARSE SO YOU CAN STAY AT HOME AND LEARN ETC. WHATEVER YOU DO LEARN- – - – - BECOME AN AUTHORITY ON IT.

Look around for catering gigs. Alot of people look for alternative menus for weddings, special events, etc. People are tried of the same old stuff…meat, chicken, fish…blah blah. I work alot of weddings. The trend seems to be that groups are looking for something different. So be creative and bring something special to the table. Good luck!!!
