I think age is a very high price to pay for maturity.

It is a sign of the upcoming life of servitude and groveling.
So the women couldn’t kick him in the ‘nads if it was inappropriate!
because it is a common sign of supplication
It’s a sincere way of pleading
He is “humbling” himself. It’s a tradition.
So that you can kick them in the privates quick if you take it as an insult!
i did not and even i did nt proposed …it just happened we both agreed
Yeah I know…
All this feminist BS and women’s equal rights…
Some of them should get down on their knees and propose to me…
It’s only fair!
I have no idea.. but it’s a sweet tradition
i think it is a tradition passed down also it seems like a “hollywood” thing
For practice.
I think they want to be ‘knighted’
In the hope that the girl will be down on her knees thereafter!
so they are facing your crotch and know what will be theirs soon
lol I was gonna say to protect the family jewels incase the gal takes offense but others beat me to it…
Ah well, great minds think alike.
Seriously, it probably harkens to the days of knights and fair damsels when a knight would swear servitude and undying love/loyalty to his Lady…..thank goodness my guy didn’t get on his knees…he was 55 at the time, I was 53 and the way our bones creak he wouldda gotten stuck in that postion and I couldn’t have pulled him up lol…good luck
so when she says NO..you can start the begging process..and groveling..and rollover and do pet tricks for her..to show you will be a good boy and obey all commands..woof woof
it seems like their asking you to please marry them i find that very sweet and honest to do…if the man that proposes to me down not get on his knees then i will say “no i will not marry you” theres no way i’m to accept a guy if he only sais “lets get married” or “want to marry me” not just the saying but if their walking with me and all the sudden say that seems like its not very important to them.a man that is willing to marry you, who trully loves you, and would do anything to get your acceptance always get on their knees if you have noticed n many ways.another way is to take you to the front of church and propose in front of everyone that is also beautiful…we girls get so emotional…
i don’t know… my hubby didn’t
