You will never know true Joy and Contentment until you have met the Buddha and learn what He has to teach. All gods are just distractions from finding inner peace. You have as much a chance of finding real peace by placing your faith in material things as you do in any god or demi-god. True happiness takes real work, not just devotion to a ‘magical’ being or another.

“Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Jesus’ love needs to be modeled in a person’s life by a human being for it to be completely realized and for a person needing love to be healed. So the answer is: it’s not the whole story.
